Your choice
You can use goferrr with essential cookies only. Allowing analytics is optional and does not unlock extra shopping features. Use “Cookie choices” in the footer at any time to allow or disable analytics. Disabling it stops future analytics and removes the analytics session cookie from this device.
Location permission is separate
Shopping location is not a cookie or part of analytics consent. Goferrr first explains the location use in its own dialog; only if you choose “Allow” does your browser show its separate native geolocation prompt. If you approve both, coordinates are sent to Goferrr's server only to resolve the nearest supported UAE emirate or city and are immediately discarded. Raw coordinates are never logged, cached, stored, included in analytics or admin totals, or sent to shopping providers. You can deny the browser prompt and enter an emirate or city manually instead.
Why essential cookies stay active
goferrr limits essential cookies to functions needed to provide and secure the service: remembering your choice and protecting the private dashboard. They are not a general permission to profile you. Optional measurement uses consent instead.
How UAE rules shape this notice
- UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 — Personal Data Protection Law: Article 5 requires fair, transparent, purpose-limited and secure processing; Article 6 requires consent to be clear, simple, accessible and easy to withdraw; Article 13 describes the right to receive information about purposes, sharing, retention and rights.
- UAE Government portal — Data protection laws: the official overview explains the federal framework, consent, correction, restriction, stopping processing and cross-border safeguards.
- TDRA — Internet Guidelines: website operators are advised to publish a clear privacy policy, collect only necessary information, protect it securely and obtain explicit consent when information is made available to another party.
